This unit works really well and gets the humidity down super fast. Very easy to operate, as well. I'm very pleased. I've had other brands of dehumidifiers in the past, and they never worked this well!

So far, the dehumidifier is working well. It is very easy to set up and is holding the moisture level to where it is set. I like that you can also set the fan speed. I also like that it shuts off when it reaches the level it is set at. It cuts down on the sound and saves electricity.

Less than 2 weeks after receiving my NEW dehumidifier, blower motor stopped working , burning smell from unit. Customer service asked if I wanted a survey, I agreed. Never sent me an email.

Very good product for 4 years. Removed humidity, easy to use, love the ability to use a tube for mousture extration when away. Started leaking water after 4 years. Easier to replace than try to repair.

After 10 years or so, we had to replace our basement dehumidifier. We went with Frigidaire again after the last success. Our new one is a bit more quiet and pretty much the same solution. Easy to use and very effective. Due to our situation we have to manually dump the water container each day. It is easy to pull the container and replace. Just has to run all the time to keep up with the humidity, and that's what it does. So we are once again very pleased with our Frigidaire humidifier.

So far this dehumidifier is doing an excellent job!! We are using it in our mostly finished basement and have seen a great change. It's not very loud and does a great job of getting the moisture out of the area.

The delivery was speedy! We took it down the box and plugged it in and could not get the dehumidifier to start. We tried different plugs and made sure all the outlets were working. I called the company and the paperwork to get this brand. New dehumidifier exchanged is massive. It is very hard to fit all that around my busy workdays,

The unit has removed the humidity well . Our previous unit which was larger capacity 95 pint would stop running for a while after the desired humidity level was reached. So far every time I™™ve checked this unit over the past week it is always running. I™™ve reduced the fan speed to medium to reduce wear and tear. Our previous unit, also Frigidaire lasted for 7 years. Hoping this one serves us as well as the first. We use it in a very large tall crawl space.

I use two of these to dehumidify my basement. One needed to be replaced after two years. The other is still dehumidifying after three years. It works very well but a bit noisy on high.

This was the perfect choice. I have it draining into my sump pump automatically so I know longer need to remember to empty the bucket! Time saver and perfect when traveling. I kept my smaller one running next to it and in 2 days, my old one hadn™™t collect a drop as this Frigidaire one worked so well! Highly recommend!!

We have had 2 failures on 2 separate 50 pint model FFAD5033W1 (icing up, units determined to be terminal fail). These units were LESS than 2 years old and only run 5mos. per year during the humid summers, unacceptable performance!!!. The latest failed last week, the placement is in a finished basement and the filters are perfectly clean, these units are just junk!!. Frigidaire quality control on these units is abysmal, I don't know if they got a bad run of components or this is a design flaw but there is NO reason these units should have failed at such a young age if they were designed and built properly. One failure? OK statistically it happens, but TWO?, now we have a problem!!! We have a MUCH older Frigidaire dehumid that I put back into service as it still runs and has outlived these newer units by about a decade. I replaced it because the auto shut off stopped working after a few years and it just continuously runs which isn't a problem in our large basement. It NEVER iced up and put water all over our floors. Research other brands because these units can no longer be trusted, I would give ZERO stars if that were an option.

Replacement for a 5 year old broken unit. This unit is very quiet and great at clearing the humidity in our basement. I like that it turns off when it reaches the humidity level I set. The bucket is easy to empty.
