This fridge is basic. And that's why I like it. Our water line is corroded so we didn't need an ice maker or water dispenser (i heard those get gunky if you don't clean them regularly, I'm a zero maintenance kinda person). We live in an older home so space was the major factor for selecting this size. Very happy with how roomy it still feels. Only issue is freezer fan noise is loud. Like not a bit, it's noticeably loud.

Frigidaire fridges are junk. Run away and run fast. Brand new fridge and it's out within 3 months. Customer service won't help you unless you have registered your product. I did and the Representative tried to weasel out of fixing the fridge. I decided to see what others have dealt with and it's a constant battle with them to get their junk fixed.Here is one link to the many I have found. Bought this garage ready unit to replace an older whirlpool that had died. The old fridge worked great for 17 years and since I had to replace it, I liked the idea of a garage ready unit. Great quality and so far so good.

The first unit that was delivered failed the same day The replacement has been working well (2 days so far) so I'm hopeful for this one. It makes slightly more noise than our old model, but otherwise it's fine. Nice looking, just a good 18 cubic foot top freezer, so no fancy features, just what we wanted and needed for a good price. Fits our modest sized kitchen. I lke it!

I haven't ever purchased a fridge before. The old one that came with the house lasted almost two decades (it may have lasted longer, I don't know). But I had to get a new one and chose something similar. I didn't realize that this freezer would be bigger than my old one. The old one also had a large vent/support system on the bottom of it. I mention this because I realized how much space that was taking up when I had to bend down further than I ever have before to get things out of the new fridge. The measurements of this one versus that one were pretty similar, but due to this newer model not needing such large parts this one seems to have a lot more space. That's great. I almost would like to put this one up on a block so that I didn't have to bend down as far. But it's on wheels. I like that it's on wheels because I can easily clean around it. I will likely get used to the bending, and honestly a stretch before eating isn't bad. One thing I really didn't like was that there was sticky tape all over it when it was delivered. I had to work really hard to scrub as much off as I could. I still see pieces of plastic peaking out of the ridges that I can't quite grip to pull out of there. I wish they had wrapped it or taped it in something that was easier to remove.

I love my new fridge!I was looking for something simple to replace the dying 15 year old Kenmore that came with my house. This fridge is spacious, easy to customize and organize, and it's beautifully sleek. It seems to be the perfect balance of cost efficiency. It does seem to run a little on the colder side- the recommended "mid" setting was absolutely too cold for the items in my refrigerator, but it adjusts just fine, so I'm a happy camper.

This is what I always wanted and needed. Perfect size and layout. Door shelves are nice and big, this freezer is perfect. No more bending over moving things around to find what I™™m looking for. I am a bit of an extreme organizer so I got dollar store buckets to make things even better.

The refrigerator broke down on New Years Eve only had for 4 months, Frigidaire warranty requires attempting to repair before replacing. Why would I want to keep a unit the went down after 4 months and why should I have to wait almost a week for an attempted repair. Not for nothing I don't have spare sitting around... purchased a replacement so I wouldn't go without to long. 4 MONTHS is not acceptable for a major appliance to go DOWN!

Wonderful to have a top freezer at eye level. Fits perfectly into my cabinet system. LED light is great. I had a Samsung prior and always had to keep repairing. Frigidaire make the best appliances. Glad I bought this.

This fridge is just perfect. Great size, right about if shelves but what I like most is the size of the door shelf™™s. I don™™t need a big freezer so this is just the right size. The option to easily change the way the door opens is a bonus incase I ever move. I also own many other Frigidaire products and have always been extremely please with them and never had any issues.

Almost every time I shut the lower door to the refrigerator the top freezer door pops open. Air pressure from closing the bottom door forces the top door ajar. If I do not notice the freezer door ajar, condencing moisture forms and freezes at the top door jam. The springing that shuts the top door is not forceful enough to totally closes. Poor design.

My new Frigidaire works & cools very well, but it is loud. The constant hum is tough to get used to. The low-pitched, droning noise only stops for a few minutes a day. The ice maker is also very loud. Every time the ice is dispensed the mechanism turns and you can hear the gears move and then 20 seconds later the water goes off and it's crazy, like a muffled fog horn. To get the unit to cool the fridge down to 40 degrees you need to set it a bit beyond the recommended center mark. The way the freezer is designed, if you have the ice maker you only have 1 option for the shelf. The space below is very narrow and you need another shelf or everything is just piled up. I added a wire shelf to create space for airflow. Without the wire shelf or some other divider the space could not be used very well.

The size of this fridge is perfect for the existing dimensions in our kitchen. No ice maker or through-the-door water gizmos - EXACTLY what we wanted! The one minus is the lack of a 'butter garage', but easier for us to use a covered butter dish which is our preference!

Our 3 1/2 year old refrigerator died and we were in a tough spot to get it fixed or replace. We learned after finally getting a repair company to show up that the cost to fix was more than a new replacement through Lowes. We purchased a new upright from Lowes and had it delivered and the old refrigerator carted away in two days. We are extremely pleased with the response from Lowe™™s.

We got this refrigerator after the one we had for 22 years died. It was sodisappointing when it stopped cooling after 4 months and we had to call for service. We were without refrigerator for 3 weeks starting the day after Thanksgiving, a very busy time, because there was a failed compressor and timer which had to be ordered separately. The service person came today and the refrigerator is running again but I am wary. I hope it won't fail but it's an unpleasant feeling wondering if it will or not. The model I have is a two-door basic box a fridge and a freezer, and I bought it because it was simple without all those digital bells and whistles you see on the newer models. We didn't even have an ice maker. So I'm really hoping that this repaired appliance lasts. I am disappointed though.
