I bought a new freezer FFUE2022AW ser# BB23805359 less than 2 years ago. It went out spoiling several hundred dollars of food. The green light at the bottom is not blinking. I will never buy another frididaire product again.

Had a smaller freezer that just went out all of a sudden, so in a scramble found this one on sale at Best Buy which was over twice the size of my last one and has a small light that warns you in case of temp not in range and an audible alarm that warns if not at freezing level for any reason, that alone was worth the piece of mind of not having to toss brand new food away.

This freezer replaced an old chest freezer which constantly had frost buildup and food lost in the lower regions. Now we are organized and can find what we need easily. We did have an issue with the defrost heater going out, which was replaced quickly by warranty service.

We purchased this freezer to replace a Frigidaire upright freezer that we have had for the past 28 years. We noticed that some things seemed to be slowly thawing in our old freezer so, considering it's age, we decided to get a new one. The first thing I noticed was the new one was very close in price to the one we purchased way back when! (I kept the original paperwork) The new freezer has a few new features over the old, which is nice. The biggest thing I noticed is how very quiet running it is compared to the old one. I was actually going to check that it was running and things were still frozen several times a day! After having it for over a week now I am starting to relax on that concern. We are pleased with our purchase and hopeful that it lasts as long as our previous one though, at our age, we probably won't be around to see it if it does! The freezer is great, but delivery was what I consider unusual. It was meant to be that I wasn't feeling well that day and called off work because my husband would have been a fish out of water!! The delivery guys were very careful bringing the freezer brought in and set up, they did an exceptional job with that. My husband needed to relay stuff to me because I was trying to keep the dog away in another part of the house (he is not friendly towards strangers). Anyway, the delivery guy wanted my email, which I told him. Then he said not that, my text. So I brought my text up on my phone and gave to my husband. Then he said he needed our wifi password, which I gave him. He must have finally got done what he needed to do because they left. My husband would have been totally lost, he does NONE of that stuff! What ever happened to just showing your driver's license which verifies you and your address? Then, when my husband gave me my phone back it showed the delivery guy took the delivery survey (I wanted to mention about the hassle of the techy stuff!). My husband said the guy asked if everything was okay and hubby said it was, so I guess he gave permission to do that in the delivery guy's mind? Not something I have ever encountered before.

Love That the Door Can Be Reversed

I specifically chose this freezer because it fit in the space in my laundry room and especially so I could reverse the door to open on right. I am happy so far with this freezer although there is one large problem--the light in the freezer doesn't come on when the door is opened. I finally figured out that there is a magnet at the bottom of the door that controls this and the magnet is missing. I have traced down this part but it is ridiculously expensive (almost $30 with shipping) for a tiny, square magnet. I refuse to pay this. It did take almost two weeks for this freezer to be delivered after I bought it. So if you have a freezer that is showing signs of quitting, order this freezer ASAP.

Love the freezer! The door shelves are perfect for our frosty mugs, ice packs for the cooler and any other smaller items. The basket at the bottom is perfect for bags of ice. We prefer the wire shelves vs. glass shelves. Really like the alarm that will notify you if the temp drops. We are however having an issue getting the door off to change it to open the other way. Bottom screw way too tight and afraid it will get stripped. Still working on that. Otherwise, love it!

We love our upright Frigidaire freezer! We had a chest freezer and I got tired digging in the freezer trying to find food. So we bought this freezer and we can open up the door and see all that we have. The door seal is nice and tight! The bins on the door hold veggies and small bags perfectly! The shelves hold a lot of weight. The green light on the bottom shows that it is working correctly and it doubles as a night light when walking into the dark!We would highly recommend purchasing this freezer!

We replaced one that was almost twenty years old, same brand and style. I love the improvements, the wheels are super smooth and made positioning easy. the bottom light is easy to see to know if it still has power when I pop breakers in the shop. pretty much the same width as the old just taller so didn't have to make space. Two cons-1 is the dial is right in the middle of the middle shelf area, easily bumped when placing stuff. Some way to "lock" it in place would be great. I should have taped it or something before it got cold.2- one more shelf would be amazing, lots of room to adjust them but there is just a ton of space in a couple spots and i foresee us overloading the shelf by stacking things high rather than having the weight split between two.not a bunch more shelves as then you would be like stacking two pizzas on each one but one or two more would be great

20 cu ft capacity is adequate for most families. Would prefer more racks for storage and visibility. Lighting can be improved throughout freezer. Adding a locking system on door would be helpful. The temperature control is very loose and doesn't provide positive feedback and is easily changed if it gets bumped.

Pitiful excuse for a freezer

Purchased my Frigidaire freezer in Aug 2023. It quit cooling in Sept 2024. Service tech came a week later and ordered parts. Parts were back ordered 2 more times. Parts finally arrive and tech installs parts on 25 Oct 2024. Freezer quit cooling again on 18 Dec 2024. Called for service and was told ™€œ Out of manufacturer warranty™€. Their support representative sucked, as English must have been her 3rd language. Will NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING THAT HAS THE NAME FRIGIDAIRE OR ELECTROLUX ON IT, again.
