I totally love my 500 series induction cooktop. Everything heats fast and quickly responds to lowering the temperatures. Pan clean-up is easier, there is less sticking of food than on my old electric coil burners. I like the range of burner sizes - 4 burners is sufficent for me and there is a large one for my big frying pan and stock pot. Mostly I can just wipe the surface clean with a little soapy water, and I bought the Bosch hob cleaner for weekly cleaning or spills. It doesn't hurt that I got a new set of pots, first ever completely new set, and a couple of new pans - some of mine transferred to induction without a problem. No regrets at all switching to induction. I researched extensively and decided Bosch was the best choice.

This is the most efficient cooktop I have ever owned. It heats fast and with predictable sensitivity. Additionally, it is very safe only heating the cookware and not the surrounding area...thus cleanup of spills is easy.

I'm so excited to finally have a cooktop that is easy to use, simple to clean and so efficient and precise for an excellent outcome. Induction cooking has made a huge difference in the quality of the outcome. The Bosch 500 series is a super high quality series. So glad we switched to Bosch. I don't miss cleaning heavy grates from the previous gas stove.

I replaced my 15 year old Bosch gas cooktop with the induction cooktop, as I was concerned about the pollution from gas. There's a bit of a learning curve going from gas to induction, but I have been pleased with the performance of the cooktop so far. I love how it boils water so quickly, but I'm still working on getting the hang of using it for searing. It's taking me much longer to cook meats over the induction than it did with gas, which is strange since the induction is so much faster at boiling water. What should I be doing?
