we enjoy the cooktop. but there is a cheap plastic tab on the side that fell off and the rubber bumpers on the top were missing. called samsung under warranty and they said tough luck.

With our remodel we went from a 30" to a 36" which makes all the difference arranging larger pots on the range. The range comes with a wok ring. I never thought about cooking with a wok, but with the high heat center burner, I bought a wok and love it.

its a bad design. plastic knobs which broke after 1 year. i'm not able to find the genuine parts anywhere for samsung. no support and parts available. also it very hard to clean and paint started peeled off after 1 year. i wont buy any samsung brand home appliances anymore

cook top works great, but i need to buy replacements for the little rubber feet for the grate. the parts supplier doesn't have them, samsung doesn't have them. they suggested i buy a new grate.
bottomline, at some point the rubber feet will need to be replaced and you won't be able to do that. don't buy samsung

i ordered the smart gas cooktop without realizing that the cooktop would not fit on our counter with the wi-fi module attached. thankfully, it is easily removed and we're not missing too much functionality without it. it would have been nice though if the wi-fi module could be installed on the rear, left side or right side of the cooktop as this would have allowed almost all customers to position the module where it would work best for their kitchen. beyond this relatively minor issue, we absolutely love the cooktop.

2020, spent 14.000 dollars on kitchen appliances from samsung, including this gas cooktop. one week before the expiration of the warranty, the igniter for the center burner started failing. since I already know how crappy samsung warranties are, I bought some steel brushes, to deep clean the burner. nothing. I call samsung, they say 'warranty already expired, we can only cover parts, but you are on the hook with $180 for labor'. unnaceptable. I should have bought for $1000 less, a gas cooktop from another brand.

the control panel is showing spots that samsung is calling cosmetic and not covered under warranty. i thought that i had purchased a quality stainless steel product but it appears that the control panel is painted. the product is only 7 months old. stay far away from this samsung product

I love this cook top. It is definitely an upgrade over the previous one installed. I love the ease of cleaning it, there's no top to flip up and crazy crevices that hold food and grease like my old one. The next feature I love the most is having different sized burners. I find this is very useful and I use them according to pot/skillet size I'm using and what type of dish. Besides the outstanding performance, it is beautiful and accents my home very well. The only change I would make is in starting flame sizes. This is the first stove I have seen that starts in the high position when starting ignition. It took some time getting use to and does not take away from the performance at all. The blue led around the knobs is a nice accent against the stainless steel. Currently I have not been able to use the wifi function, for some reason my internet service provider system flags it as a malicious program.

i have to have matching appliances and was deciding between bosch, whirlpool and samsung. absolutely love our samsung kitchen! this cooktop is great. excellent heat control. love that the knobs light up when they are on - makes it easy to tell what burners are on from a distance. the griddle and wok grate are awesome. great product!

i wish i good give zero star for this product. its an extremely poor quality cooktop.even all the parts are not made of stainless steel.
i tried cleaning my cooktop with a grease removed and the fabric paint came off, that's when i realized its not steel. my product is under warranty, but when i call customer care i was told that its physical damaged caused by user.
i am not sure what kind of product samsung makes. does it not expect users to clean their cook tops. its a horrible experience... i will never recommend this product to any one. you get better products for 500 $. you end up paying 1300 $ to get this horrible quality.

Installed this 2 weeks ago and love it. Easy to install. Greats are extremely heavy duty and really enhance the look. Dials have a slight glow in the dark and a bright glow when turned on. There will be no more leaving a low burner on with the light indicator around the knob. WiFi also let's you know if a burner is own. This is an attractive, well built product.

I purchased this cooktop for our newly built home, which we moved into over a month ago. I love the stainless steel cooktop and find it very easy to keep clean. The burners cook perfectly, with very heavy duty cast iron grates. The blue-lit knobs let you know a burner is on.

LOVE IT!! Replaced a 20 year old Thermador with the extra low flame on/off feature. Should have replaced it years ago, this 36" with 22K burner is a home cooks dream! Love the cast iron griddle accessory and low burner for simmering that doesn't click on/off. Well done Samsung.
